For the first time in our 60-year history, we’ll be owning our own home! We can’t wait to welcome you when we move just a few short miles away to 1785 Arnold Drive in Martinez!

Why is the credit union moving?

WHFCU is proud to say that we'll be homeowners! We know how special home ownership is to you and we can't wait to share our new home with you!

As we've been talking about with members for years, there is a lot of financial advantages to owning versus leasing property. We're so excited to show you how these financial advantages get passed back to you as well.

In our new home, we'll be able to offer:

  • Ample conference room space to hold educational, money-saving seminars
  • A dedicated parking lot just for our members!
  • One-on-one financial consultation

When is the CU Moving?

Last day of business at 5442 Ygnacio Valley Road: Friday, February 9
First day of business at 1785 Arnold Drive: Tuesday, February 13
We will be closed on Monday, February 12 to prepare all systems to serve you! 

What do I do if I need cash?

We belong to the CO-OP network, which gives you the convenience of being able to access over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs. You’re more than welcome to visit us in Martinez, but you can always find a local ATM using CO-OP’s mobile app or use the embedded ATM finder one each page of this site!

How far is the new location?

Depending on which direction you’re driving from, it could be even more convenient than our current location! For example, we’re a shorter distance if you work or live near John Muir Concord. We’re right off Hwy 4 freeway (close to the 680/4 junction).

How easy is it to get to the new location?

Very easy!

Will our account numbers, checks or ATM cards change at all due to the move?

No, your account numbers, checks and ATM cards will not change as part of our move. 

In early 2018 we will be migrating to a new and improved core system. As part of this process, there may be some changes to certain services. We will keep you informed every step of the way regarding any potential changes! 

Will we be able to deposit at the old branch ATM?

No, this ATM will be removed, however deposit-taking CO-OP ATMs will be available. For the fastest access to funds, download our Mobile Deposit App.

Will there be a drive-thru ATM at the new location?

Not at this time, but there will be a walk-up ATM available for you!

Where can I make deposits?

Deposits can be made in a number of ways.

  1. With our Mobile Deposit App on your Smart Phone
  2. At any CO-OP deposit-taking ATM
  3. At the NEW Branch ATM
  4. Through the drop box located at the NEW Branch
  5. Mail deposits to the NEW Branch
  6. Visit the NEW Branch

Do you have closer locations to sign loan documents?


After April 2018, all consumer loan documents can be signed electronically with e-signatures. In the meantime, we can always fax documents for signature.


Are there easier ways to conduct transactions besides driving to the new branch?

Absolutely! We have a suite of eServices which allows you to access your accounts anytime of the day.

In early 2018 we will be migrating to a new and improved core system. As part of this process, we'll be able to offer even more convenient services, such as:

  • Instant-issue debit cards
  • Account alerts
  • Bill pay
  • e-statements
  • Instant credit scores
  • Secure online applications

Are you going to open any other Offices/Branches?

We have no plans at this time to open any other branches, but we appreciate your suggestions for future locations!
